Hello, I am Ranjan Bhattacharya. I founded YourPropertyEmpire.com with the specific aim of helping others achieve financial freedom through building their own Property Empire.

I bought my first property when I was six years old! I had just been given my first ever Monopoly set and with a roll of the dice, I found myself the proud owner of Kings Cross Station!

Ever since then, I have been passionate about all things to do with property!

In 1990 I graduated with a degree in Computer Science and joined the graduate programme of one the big 5 Management Counsultancy firms. This was also the year I bought my first real property, in Harrow.

Throughout the 1990's I continued to build a portfolio of cashflow generating rental properties.

I wasn't one of those people who hated my day job. In fact, I thoroughly enjoyed my career. In 1994 I took a break to study for an MBA at the Cranfield School Of Management, and continued after that in Management Consultancy.

However, it soon became obvious that even though I enjoyed my management consultancy career, property investment provided a far greater financial return for much less effort. I discovered there was an opportunity cost of actually going into work each day!

In 2001, I decided to become a full-time property investor. I now actively invest in both residential and commercial property. I am also developer and a provider of bridging financing facilities to other developers.

I setup www.rspropertysolutions.co.uk as a vehicle for finding Below Market Value property and I also setup my own lettings agency.

As well as building my own property empire, I also enjoy sharing my experience with others. I am a regular speaker at events like the Property Investors Show and Home Buyers Show, where I speak to audiences of 200 people. I am one of only a few speakers on property investment who is also a member of the Professional Speakers Association.

In 2004, I launched the one day Property Entrepreneurship Course.

Ever since it received favourable coverage in the Mail on Sunday, the course has gone from strength to strength.

… And this brings us to 2005.

The boom years of the current property market cycle are over. This means no more double digit house price growth for a few years to come.

As the property market changes, so you need to change your investment strategies to maximise the profit potential of the current market conditions.

I started investing in property in 1990 and I have been an active investor through all phases of the property market cycle.
